For Rangers Lodge Wildlife Hospital CIO
Who Are We?
At Rangers Lodge Wildlife Hospital we try to redress the balance by treating sick, injured and orphaned animals and nurse them back to health. We believe everything has a right to life.
Our aim is to release every animal back into the wild or to find them safe release sites.
We are a small Wildlife Hospital, based in a private home, in the heart of West Sussex. Set in the beautiful countryside of Saint Leonards Forest just east of the historical market town of Horsham. We are open 24 hours, 365 days of the year.
The Role
We're looking for someone to help with handling, cleaning, feeding, and general welfare of the hospital and animal patients.
We are looking for volunteers who are willing to commit to a regular day each week to help us provide good care to the animals at Rangers Lodge throughout the week. Various shifts are available, but please note that day shifts are a full day (10am - 6pm).
The work load will depend on how many animals are at the hospital at any one time, but spring and summer are typically busier than the autumn and winter.
No previous experience is required as training will be given.
