Christmas Volunteers at Swan Walk Shopping Centre

Who Are We?

We are a registered charity and our main focus is on removing barriers and transforming lives for children, young people and their families.

We offer two main services:

1. An inclusive stay and play centre based in Horsham, West Sussex for all families with children to explore, play, and have fun (stay and play).
2. Activities for children and young people with disabilities aged 0 - 25 years. Sessions run in the evenings, weekends, and every school holiday. We operate out of many locations including Horsham, Crawley, Worthing and Sutton (Short Breaks).

The Role

If you have some availability over the festive period and would like to support a local charity, we are looking for volunteers to help at our Christmas Giving Campaign at Swan Walk Shopping Centre in Horsham.

Whether you can give half an hour or a full day, any help would be great.

The role will include being present at our Christmas installation on the mosaic opposite Superdrug in Swan Walk Shopping Centre.

We are having a large present built, with four interactive sides. These will include

• A selfie station
• Interactive messages from Santa, Rudolph, and Elves
• A Santa Tracker
• A donation station. This is the area we will need volunteers to run, supporting donators with either a present donation or money donation (tap to donate).

We will need volunteers who can help between Saturday 18 November and Sunday 24 December. 

We can accept volunteers who are aged 14 or over, but please note that anyone under the age of 18 will need to sign up alongside a responsible adult due to the nature of the role.

What skills do I need?
