Who Are We?
Embracing Age is a Christian charity working towards a world where older people are valued, connected and full of hope, by combatting loneliness, mobilising volunteers, equipping churches and speaking out.
Inspired by our Christian ethos, we serve older people regardless of background, ethnicity or beliefs, upholding dignity, compassion and respect for all.
The Role
Helping run fundraising events and activities - for example, a stall at a local fair, a coffee morning, bake sale, quiz night, concert or any other community event Encouraging local businesses or other groups to support us through sponsorship or other fundraising Organising fundraising initiatives in a team of volunteers Developing new fundraising ideas Help researching, applying for and reporting for funding bids
Good communication skills Initiative Ability to work in a team Bid writing experience (for those volunteering in this activity)
