For The Phoenix Stroke Club
If you enjoy gardening and have some time to spare, we would like to invite you to join our volunteering team and help us to maintain The Phoenix Stroke club garden.
The Phoenix Stroke Club is a weekly club in Horsham for people who have either had a stroke or have a neurological condition.
The club provides support to members by offering a range of stimulating activities that aim to restore confidence, improve communication and mobility.
The garden is in the process of development. We are aiming to create a nice green area where members could enjoy the good weather and engage in small gardening tasks despite their physical difficulties.
We would appreciate any time you can commit. Even 2 hours per week will help us to improve the service. You are welcome to come for a taster session to see the place and meet members and other volunteers.
