Who Are We?

The club offers companionship for those in their senior years. It provides the opportunity for older people, and those who are vulnerable, often live alone, may suffer from a range of disabilities, to meet and socialise in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. This is particularly important as Henfield and the surrounding villages are very rural.

The Role

Our Self Help Group is looking for a volunteer minibus driver to help once a month on a Tuesday.

You’d be helping local seniors get to and from Henfield Hall — a small commitment that makes a huge difference. You will be:

• Driving our adapted minibus locally in/around Henfield to pick up and drop off members.
• See members safely on and off the minibus to/from Henfield Hall - alongside our shotguns.
• Secure any wheelchairs or rollators.

Availability

Tuesdays, monthly rota: Morning 0845-1100 & Afternoon 1430-1630.

What skills do I need?

• If you've got a clean Driving licence, ideally under aged 70 or, if over, with the appropriate licence.
• A kind nature and a sense of humour always helps.
