Who Are We?
The Gatwick Greenspace Partnership is a community project managed by Sussex Wildlife Trust which carries out practical conservation work on a number of local green spaces and a range of outdoor educational activities for younger people as well.
The Role
4 tasks over 4 Tuesdays (June 2nd, July 7th, August 4th and September 1st 2026). 3 in Horsham and 1 in Crawley (see below for sites/dates).
The work is mainly Heathland or grassland management or invasive plant removal. The work is physical, involves some hand tool use and the sites are on un-even ground. The sites are fairly remote and are not always close to facilities. New volunteers may bring their own work gloves and soft drinks/sandwiches and everything else is provided. Sun hats, cream and long sleeves/ trousers are recommended.

No special skills required, although it is physical work between 09:45 and around 2pm for each session.
