The Neighbourhood Council is involved in a wide variety of issues including planning applications, transport and highways, youth and older people, Neighbourhood Wardens, Horsham Park, Town Centre improvements, emergency and winter provision, and Blueprint Neighbourhood Forum.
Attendance at the monthly meeting which is held on the third Thursday evening at the Methodist Church Hall, London Rd, Horsham, and occasional attendance at meetings with other related organisations is required. Councillors also need to respond to emails on a regular basis.
An interest in the local area and the future of Horsham.
Experience or expertise in any relevant area e.g. planning, parks, retail, culture, youth, older people, transport and highways.
Volunteers should have access to email and the internet.
Social media and IT skills very very welcome.

A commitment of a few hours a month to suit the Volunteer including attendance at the monthly meetings which are usually on the third Thursday of the month and occasional meetings with other related organisations.
