For Billingshurst Community Transport
Who Are We?
Billingshurst Community Transport (BCT) is a scheme for those who are unable to use public transport including frail and/or disabled residents of Billingshurst and many of the surrounding villages. Volunteer Drivers take residents to and from doctors / dentist / hospital appointments.
BCT currently supports over 200 residents.
The Role
Do you have a some knowledge of the local area?
Do you have some time and would like to give to your local community?
Do you hold a current UK driving licence?
We are looking for volunteers to drive passengers to and from medical appointments at hospital, doctors surgeries and dentists etc.
Mileage allowance is covered and training is available if needed.
BCT would not be able to provide this much appreciated community service without our valued drivers. We are always looking for volunteers, either to drive the BCT vehicle or their own cars. If you have any spare time and would be interested in joining us please do get in touch.
