Our service users enjoy growing their own vegetables, fruits and other plants and learning about nature and ecology. We are looking for someone to help out with the gardening group that is run weekly on the unit. The role includes general maintenance of the garden and preparing activities for service users to work on in the group time with guidance and support from our Recreational and Vocational Co-ordinator.
Excellent communication skills Awareness of the importance of risk assessment Keen gardener with good knowledge of horticulture
The group runs once a week for approximately one hour, however depending on availability preparation could be carried out at other times - we are flexible
